I am a providential person! This has been the rest of the Korea 2026 trip for Next Gen Mission. The mission program visited the first church, the first training center, the first stepping stones (almost literally) of where our movement started. And it doesn’t stop there! For the first time in probably a long time, we Americans interacted with the Korean youth in Busan, and despite language barriers were able to bond for an afternoon. A result of that was creating a simple dance video together, which got a lot of interaction 😉 Thank you, Busan! We hope to see you all again soon. Beyond just enjoying the country of Korea, many missionaries had deep experiences visiting all these important, historical sites. By being able to physically be at the places where our founders worked tirelessly to build this worldwide community, were some of them able to understand where they come from, and their identity. About a week ago, the Rooted workshop concluded in Korea! In collaboration with Blessing & Family Ministry, young adults from all over America flew to Korea and attended a workshop and pilgrimage along with the missionaries of Next Gen Mission. Throughout the one-week workshop, the participants were able to attend the Hyojeong Cheonju Blessing, listen to Rev. Dunkley as his Higher Ground tour came to Korea, go to the DMZ and pray for the reunification of North and South Korea, and visit providential and historical places of our movement. There were many enjoyable highlights as well as meaningful conversations and reflections as all participants also received educational content working towards the Blessing, and creating God-centered families by becoming God-centered individuals. It was a packed week, and there’s more to talk about. But one thing is clear– the spiritual foundation we stand one is deeply ROOTED.
